LOS ANGELES - Lindsey Vonn faces an injury layoff after breaking her arm in a training fall, the American skiing star revealed on Friday. "I had successful surgery last night in Vail and everyone took great care of me," Vonn wrote on Facebook. Vonn, the 2010 Winter Olympics downhill champion, has said she is focusing on downhill and Super-G this season. The eight-time World Cup downhill champion is expected to target the World Ski Championships in St Moritz in February. Vonn has worked her way back to fitness in recent seasons after suffering a serious knee injury in 2013.
